This report is evidence that TMC's Head Start program supports the overall goal of improving the social competence of children. Special attention is focused on the increase of the five domains that scored the highest. Approaches to Learning 96.30 %, Social and Emotional Development 76.83 %, Physical Health & Development 69.01 %, Creative Arts 58.29 % and Language Development 57.56 %. Although, the Literacy domain reflects an increase of eleven percent it is identified as a low score of 25.32 percent. It must be noted that in the final assessment scheduled for May 07, 2010 the Literacy domain will identify a higher increase because it will be scored by age. This is alluding to three year olds that will be grouped and scored separately from the four and five years olds therefore, it is very possible that a significant increase scores for four and five year olds will be identified.
